About our name : Art2bseen
Not long after my mother passed away,my father gave me his old dinosaur desktop computer,it was a gateway 486/66.I started playing around with it.It was my first computer so I had no idea what i was doing.Before long we were online , and with that came a whole new set of problems.
I had to think of a screen name for my AOL account set up.It suggested I pick a name that is a reflection of who I was.That really didnt help me out much TiredWifeArtistMomOf4 didnt sound so nice.So I started thinking along the lines of an art related name , art had always been a part of my life and who I was.And like any other artist, I just wanted people to see my art, it doesnt really matter if art is liked or disliked as long as it is seen.
So I started playing with word and number combinations, untill I found one that reflected my ideas as an artist, and Art2bseen was born.
Definition of : Art2bseen
ART: the conscious use of skill & creative imagination in the production of aesthetic objects.
2: short for (To) used as a function word to indicate addition, attachment, connection, belonging,possession or response.
B: short for (be) to take place; happen; or occur.
SEEN: to have been perceived by the eye.

It didnt take me long to figure out how to make art with a pc.I used two programs that I had, ms paint and ms photo editor.I called my " digital artwork " freehand computer paintings.Then I started playing around with animation & graphic creation.One thing lead to another.
In 2000 opened a free shop account a CafePress ,Art2bseen Online Gift shop.
In 2001 purchased www.art2bseen.com and launched my first website.
In 2003 upgraded Art2bseen Online Gift shop to a paid shop account.
In 2005 purchased www.manningsc.biz and launched my second website.
In 2008 opened the Art2bseen Online Gallery @ Imagkind
In 2008 opened Art2bseen Designer Gifts @ zazzle.com
In 2009 purchased www.art2bseenshop.com & www.art2bseentile.com

Art In Motion
When I create a digital painting, I build an image from the background to the forground as you do when painting with traditional tools.When I complete a step or section of my image, I save it as a stand alone image .A Final digital painting of mine can result to having 100 saved images that document the progression of the final image.
I use the images to make an animation , giving you " Art In Motion" Please enjoy !
